How does this work?

At this time, this is open only to parents of currently enrolled Sequoia students. Parents who are self-employed business owners can take advantage of this new program to promote their businesses to other Sequoia parents. In exchange for listing on this site for one full school year, we are asking for a small, tax-deductible donation to the Sequoia Dads' Club. So, while promoting your business to the Sequoia community, you are also supporting your child's school and its wonderful enrichment programs, such as art, garden, music, library and more. 


 

I'm a Sequoia parent business owner! How do I sign up?

To get started, please contact the Shop Sequoia coordinator (ShopSeqouia@SequoiaSchool.net). You can list on this site in two ways:

1) Basic Listing: Choose this option, if you would like simply to have your name, business name, phone number, e-mail address and/or website listed in text format (up to 75 words) on the appropriate page category, shown on the left bar of this page. (Suggested minimum donation to the Sequoia Dads' Club, $75 for one school year, Aug-Jun). 

2) Premium Listing: With this option, in addition to the Basic Listing mentioned above, you will get your own dedicated web page on this site that can be accessed from the Business Listing page. This will allow you to provide more information on your business offerings. What's more, you can optionally choose to take advantage of a free one-hour web page design consultation, including up to 200 words to describe your business, and also upload a photo of yourself and/or a business logo. Additionally, from this page you can link to your existing website, if you have one. (Suggested minimum donation to the Sequoia Dads' Club, $150 for one school year, Aug-Jun).

*PLEASE NOTE: Per district policy, the school principal must review and approve all proposed listings for this site. 

 

What if I want to make changes to my listing, or remove it? 

With your listing, you can make up to 2 free changes to your page during any school year. Changes beyond those initial two may result in additional fees payable to the Dads Club. You can ask to have your listing removed at anytime. Change requests should be sent to ShopSequoia@SequoiaSchool.net. 

 

Do I need to renew each year? 

Yes. We ask that you make a donation to the Dads Club for each school year that you would like to have your business listed on our school site. Please note the fees above may be subject to change from school year to school year. The Shop Sequoia Coordinator will contact each business owner in August before the start of each school year. Those owners who do not renew or do not respond by September 30th of each school year will have their pages removed from the site.
